Description

Precision resistors refer to resistors whose tolerance, TCR, load life, long-term stability and other parameters meet higher standards with the same resistor production technology and installation method. Long-term stability is a very important parameter, because tight tolerance is meaningless without stability. The precision resistors are mainly made by thin film and foil technology. Among them, the electrical performance of foil resistor is more excellent, and it can achieve almost zero TCR and 0.001% tolerance. In addition, for high-voltage and high-resistance applications, it is very difficult to achieve absolute high tolerance and low TCR. Usually, thick film and wirewound technology are adopted, and good tolerance and stability can be achieved after special process treatment.
